Milad Tower

Milad multi-purposes tower with application of telecommunication, television and radio, meteorology and tourism attraction is the fifth height tower of the world and at present time its installations are completed underutilization. The tower includes a lobby in land with approximate area of 14500 square meters, vertical fence for stairway and lifts with height of 315 meters and 12 floors together with rotator restaurant and dove form for visiting sky in peak of tower with approximate area of 11700 square meters and antenna with height of 120 meters which cause for tower height to 437 meters. Contract for performing services of plan and execution was concluded between Tehran municipality and Boland Payeh Company and at present is completed.

Architecture plan services of tower granted to Dr. Hafezi of Tarh va Takvin Company, its structure design granted to N.C.K of Canada and design of installation and mechanical – electrical installation of the tower was granted in 2000 to Energy Consultant Engineers.

Considerable studies were performed for design of installation in this project and all high towers of the world visited and perform negotiation with reliable consultant of the world and finally the best systems for power supplying, lighting, telecommunication, BMS systems, security and alarm system, ventilation, lifts, windows cleaning, etc. were selected.

Fire Alarm system of tower with regard to considerable sensitivity of building was granted to Wagner Company as foreign colleague of this consulting engineers as its details described in sections of colleague companies of Energy Company. The design of this section is the advance and modern fire alarm and fighting system of the world.

Some part of executive installations of project including earthing was performed and receive positive response and other systems including lifts and windows washing after determination of features and details announce intender and was executed by around vendors. Finally, it should be mentioned that main part of design services of this project as a distinguished national project which is considered as a symbol for Tehran and even for the country, performed after considerable review by this company and other colleagues.
